RHEA HUDSON SHELDON is a founding member of Sheldon & Parker, PLLC. 

Ms. Sheldon, a native of Purvis, Mississippi, received her law degree in 2002 from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. She was an active member of the Law School Student Body, serving her fellow classmates as Honor Council member, Honor Council Chairperson, and Law School Student Body Election Commissioner. As a member of the Moot Court Board, she served as Judicial Relations Director, sat on the Executive Committee and was named the 2002 Most Valuable Member. She was also active in the Public Interest Law Clinic.

Ms. Sheldon began her law career as a judicial law clerk at the Mississippi Supreme Court for Justice Kay B. Cobb.  She later managed the Jackson Mississippi office of a regional law firm where her practice focused on commercial litigation and toxic tort defense across the Gulf South.

Ms. Sheldon’s practice has evolved to include a substantial domestic, real estate and commercial litigation practice in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Georgia.  Ms. Sheldon has participated in non-jury trials in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Sheldon is admitted to practice in Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. She is an active member of the Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia Bar Associations and American Bar Association.  Ms. Sheldon is a former member of the Hinds County Bar Association where she served as Co-Chairperson on the Women in the Profession Committee and Social Committee. Ms. Sheldon is a fellow with Litigation Counsel of American and a past member of the Charles Clark Inns of Court.

In 2007, Ms. Sheldon was honor by the Mississippi Business Journal’s selection of her as one of “Mississippi’s Fifty Leading Business Women.” 

Ms. Sheldon currently resides in Purvis, Mississippi with her husband, Jay.
